Manager Ger Rossi reacts to first win

After recent performances hadn’t produced the results we feel were maybe deserved, we asked the boys to produce a performance that had a focus on managing the game a little bit better throughout the full 90 minutes than we’ve seen in recent weeks.

It’s honestly almost been an impossible task as a management team to figure out why we’ve not been putting three points consistently on the board as opposed to one. Today again was almost like a copy and paste performance that we have seen since the start of the season. We’ve been brilliant in stages but almost allowed teams off the hook. However going back to what we asked the boys for, our game management was as good as I’ve seen thus far. Young Fraser Stewart, only recently turning 18, was a stand-out and his man of the match display was as mature a performance as you’d see at this level.

Me, Brogie and Allan are proud of the efforts but again, it’s nothing short of what the boys deserved.
