What a way to bow out for the season, a sixth place finish after five consecutive victories.
The game itself was an entertaining game and without being too biased, I feel we probably should’ve been a lot more comfortable than we were in the closing stages. Particularly first half, we could have been out of sight with some guilt edge chances we had.
However, at the end of the day we’ve taken three well-worked goals and brought home the three points and at this level of football that’s all that matters.
The reflection of the last few months shows that the boys can compete with anyone when they turn up and that’s a message I’ve tried to install into the mindset of them all since I came in.

We finished off on Saturday night with a great awards night at Peebles Bowling Club and we thank them for hosting us. It was a night for the lads to come together and celebrate what has been a magnificent squad effort over the full season and they certainly made the most of it!
We will have a good 4/5 week rest period then regroup and try and push on again and make a real challenge next season.
